"Good Grief" in the Schools

MargaretAnn’s Place provides support to school staff and administrators to assist them with meeting the needs of their students when a death occurs.

Our services for schools include:

8-10 week Peer Support/Education groups for small groups of students.

Staff Development – In-service workshops– “How to Help a Grieving Student” for teachers, school social workers/counselor and administrators

“Good Grief” School Resource Kit – A set of literature to be used by school counselors and teachers.

Consultation – Development of immediate and time limited (8-10 weeks) Peer Support/Education Group programming for grieving students
